Learn how to use The Deep End, from initial setup through tournament, cash, finance, and reporting workflows.

Getting Started

The Deep End is a poker tracker built around actual play. MTT tracking, cash tracking, and poker finances are separate areas of the application, with each area organized around the information you actually need while playing and reviewing results.

Creating an Account

From the home page, select Create Account. Enter your email address and choose a password, then select Create Account again to create your account.

Logging In

Select Log In from the home page. Enter the email address and password associated with your account, then select Log In.

If you forget your password, use Forgot password? on the login screen to begin the password-reset process.

Basic Layout & Navigation

The main application is divided into three primary areas: MTT Tracker, Cash Tracker, and Finances. The three areas are available in the main navigation across the top of the tracker.

Each area then has its own secondary navigation. The available options depend on which area you are using.

MTT Tracker

The MTT Tracker is for tournament play. It includes:

  • Play — record tournaments as you play them.
  • Sessions — review tournament sessions and performance totals.
  • Analytics — analyze tournament results using filters.
  • Sites & Buy-ins — configure the poker sites and tournament buy-in amounts you use.

Cash Tracker

The Cash Tracker is for cash-game play. It includes:

  • Play — start and record cash sessions.
  • Sessions — review completed sessions and results.
  • Analytics — analyze cash-game performance.
  • Setup — configure games, stakes, blinds, and table information.

Finances

Finances is separate from session tracking. It records poker-related money movement, including site deposits and withdrawals, staking activity, and player balances. It also provides the poker financial reports.

Account

Select Account in the upper-right corner to manage your account. The Account page provides account information, password management, appearance settings, and account logout.

The Deep End is designed to be usable without a manual. This guide is intended to explain the workflow, document features that are not immediately obvious, and clarify what the various results and reports mean.

Tip: For MTT play, start with Sites & Buy-ins. For cash play, start with Setup. Finances can be configured separately.
